President of Emerging Technology Marketing Company Singled Out for Leadership of Explosive Growth Year

Reston, VA – October 27, 2011 – Gabriel Marketing Group, the leading technology marketing company for emerging and mid-size businesses, today announced that its president and founder, Leah Gabriel Nurik, was named a finalist in the Best Entrepreneur with up to 100 employees in advertising, marketing and public relations category in the 8th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Under Leah’s leadership, Gabriel Marketing Group is rapidly becoming one of the industry’s most sought after marketing and public relations firms for disruptive technology companies. The company experienced a growth rate of nearly 800 percent in one year with the addition of several new clients signed. One client, GroupLogic, came to Gabriel Marketing Group wanting to rebrand the company and launch a disruptive technology: the industry’s first mobile file management product to ever hit the market, mobilEcho.

“We came to Gabriel Marketing Group with big plans and a short time period. In less than three months, GMG served as a strategic partner that helped us reposition our company, redefine and construct our new brand, define our messaging for a completely new product and then launch it,” said Anders Lofgren, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, GroupLogic. “The results – both in terms of lead generation, brand awareness and not to mention the vast amounts of press coverage we received–have helped us beat both lead generation goals and revenue targets. We could not be happier with the results of the mobilEcho launch or the high-quality strategic services that GMG turns out.”

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they run. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

More than 1,300 entries – a record for the competition – were submitted this year for consideration in 75 categories, including Best Executive, Best Entrepreneur, Women Helping Women and Communications Campaign of the Year. Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.

Members of the six final judging committees will select Stevie Award winners from among the finalists during final judging.

“Leah is the driving force of our team. She knows what this business is all about, and knows what it takes to help our clients to succeed in such a fast-moving, highly competitive industry,” said Jenny Viscarolasaga, Senior Director, Gabriel Marketing Group. “Leah absolutely deserves recognition for the work she has done to build the GMG brand into a leading agency for emerging and mid-size tech companies.”

“I am honored to be recognized by the Stevies,” said Ms. Nurik. “We are passionate about helping emerging and mid-size technology companies get the recognition they deserve for being innovative and changing the way people and businesses communicate with one another. When we are recognized by such a respected awards program like the Stevies, it reaffirms we are headed down the right path; making a difference for our clients and having a blast in the process.”

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 11. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the United States and several other countries are expected to attend. The presentations will be broadcast live on radio in the United States by the Business TalkRadio Network.
