Today, we announced the formation of our Advisory Board, made up of industry veterans and incredibly smart and talented people from a variety of industries. Although we just announced its formation, the Board has been meeting for a few months, providing the team and I with invaluable insight and advice on how to fulfill our mission to marry “changemakers” with opportunities to disrupt and positively impact industry, economy and humanity through the development and distribution of innovative technology.

The formation of the Board marks a transitional milestone for the evolution of GMG. When we started this crazy, lunatic adventure–the founding of our mission-focused agency–we were figuring it out as we grew, learned, failed, laughed and cried. We made mistakes, we flapped our wings when winds were strong, and hid for cover when the sky started falling. But, here we are, years down the road and all grown up. As a business (as in adult life) maturity is awareness of what you do and do not know. Collaborating and seeking honest, authentic and expert advice from those with different perspectives is essential to adapting, evolving and improving as a business. That being said, we are humbled and grateful that our members agreed to contribute their time and guidance.

Nevertheless, we are still GMG. At our core we remain a scrappy, fast, nimble and agile team focused on changing the tech and marketing industries and helping visionaries meet their goals. However, today’s GMG is a bit older and a little wiser. With even more input, I’m excited and hopeful about the next chapter in our story.
