GMG CEO, Leah Nurik, Selected as A Finalist For DC Inno’s 50 on Fire

What does it take to be one of the hottest innovators in the D.C-area? Ask our very own CEO, Leah Nurik, who was just named a DC Inno 50 on Fire finalist for innovation in marketing and advertising!

Once a year, DC Inno consolidates their expertise and highlights the best of the past year of editorial coverage. They do this with a little guidance from the community of investors, founders and startup employees who read DC Inno every day. The community helps with dozens of nominations and sorts through them all to come up with a list of finalists.

As of November 17, 2016, DC Inno has selected Leah Nurik, CEO of Gabriel Marketing Group, a Washington, D.C.-based technology PR and marketing firm, a finalist in the marketing and advertising category. The 50 on Fire Awards celebrate visionary individuals and companies across the nation with specific events in major metro areas. Nurik was named a finalist from hundreds of nominations submitted by exceptional companies and individuals throughout the region.

DC Inno’s annual 50 on Fire Awards is a premier event in Washington D.C., highlighting the successes of D.C.’s biggest game changers, from established leaders to up-and-comers in nine categories: community, design, education, government & advocacy, healthcare & medicine, investment, lifestyle, marketing & advertising, and technology. The 50 winners will be announced at an event at Howard Theatre on December 1, 2016.

Nurik and Gabriel Marketing Group won the 50 on Fire Award in 2014 and had been a recipient of numerous industry awards for branding, public relations and advertising, including the PR Global Awards, Brava Awards, Davey Awards, The Telly Awards, Stevie Awards and multiple MarCom awards.
